Why I’m NOT “The King Of Pay Per Clicks”
September 30, 2007 | Written by annliu | Filed Under Success Tips
I just finish read this latest article that written by William Crawford, the article demonstrates that… when the timing is right, things just fall into place. It shows how he sometimes hesitated to take action when maybe he shouldn’t has, and when he allowed mentors to change his course of action for the better.
… as back then, I realize that without traffic to your website, your web business CANNOT be successful. You simply need visitors to a web page who, upon arriving, take the desired action …
When something works, why change it. When something isn’t working, it’s insane NOT to change it. Just that simple observation, properly responded to, will make you an online success …
In the article, William also shares his interaction with several big name marketers over the course of the past six years, showing how he learned from them and then applied the lessons

Elaine - Forgive My Marketing Sins
September 28, 2007 | Written by annliu | Filed Under Personal
I find this interesting post when I do the writing research on the net - Forgive My Marketing Sins, which is written by Elaine Fogel, in the post, she listed down her marketing sins …
Because the nature of human being, i think in one way or the other, we all have such strong opinions and passions toward to the things we like or the work we do, a lot of time, we’re talking when we ought to be listening to the client. Then the sins start to show out …
There also have some interesting comments, like this one:
Instead of looking at what the customer wanted…I was focusing on what I thought would be best. I can look back and say I offered suggestions that I thought would improve her marketing campaign but in the end it is the customers vision that matters most I am there just to guide the vision.
It is good to read and get some re-fresh, so check it out.
BlogRush Shocking Changes
September 27, 2007 | Written by annliu | Filed Under Alert & Opinion & News
On the other day, I have posted this BlogRush, a free blog add on widget tool, which can help you promote your blog(s) on related blogs across the Internet has launched. Have you start to use it yet?
I just received a letter from the found of BlogRush John Reese regards to the latest update of this free promotion tool, following are the email details,
TO: All BlogRush Members
FROM: John Reese, Founder of BlogRushARE YOU READY? Because *everything* is about to change. Forget everything else up until now…
PREPARE FOR *BIG* CHANGES! (TWO MAJOR CHANGES ARE NOW LIVE.)
BlogRush CAN’T EXIST if we’re not sending you a lot of ongoing, targeted traffic. We fully recognize this and that’s why this is our ONLY FOCUS.
The BlogRush team has been hard at work making major improvements for you and we won’t rest until BlogRush is running 100% smoothly and sending you tons of targeted traffic! This is OUR MISSION. Please know that our entire team is working around-the-clock to make improvements and fix any problems AS FAST AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE.
(We sincerely appreciate your patience.)
We’ve encountered some problems since our historic launch just over a week ago, and we fully recognize that we’ve made some real ‘goofs’ with the system for our Public Beta release…
For example, our data center provider (one of the largest in the world) had a short, temporary outage (they had to replace a network switch) two days after our launch. We had no control over this outage but want to SINCERELY APOLOGIZE to those that saw this message on their blogs (where the widget should have been):
“We are currently experiencing some technical issues and the site will be back online shortly. Please come back in a few minutes.”
We were completely *EMBARRASSED* when we realized this happened. That simple message was part of our application code and was meant to appear only on *OUR* WEB SITE PAGES if we ever experienced an outage. This was accidentally ‘marked’ to be a global error message for ANY outage — including if our widget ever had a problem loading. This was a major GOOF and we’re willing to admit it. Our code was planned so that in the case of a problem with our widget, NOTHING WOULD LOAD in its place. So a visitor to your blog doesn’t see an error or anything wrong should the widget ever have any technical issues.
This was quickly corrected and is now working properly. Should the widget ever have any problem loading in the future, your blog will be served a transparent space (which will show whatever background your blog design has) and your blog readers won’t really notice anything.
Again, our sincere apologies for our major goof. It was quite embarrassing.

Now, be completely honest with me - I want you to take a good look at your life, at your business. If you are still looking for a magic bullet, stop it now. Instead try developing a productive mindset that can help you achieve those real results. Staying PLUGGED IN, and develop a habit of it if you want to remain successful is an essential thing to do!
Okay, here is why I say it - Have you ever felt like “If I just buy this product at this seminar, I will finally reach “success”… I will finally have the magic bullet to solve all my financial problems.” I know many people feel like this.
Everyone is looking for the magic bullet. But, this isn’t really an accurate way to look at starting a business.
Seriously, business is like a zigzag line. There is no straight arrow, no straight line to success. In order to succeeds in the business, you need to do constantly changes, grows and moves with the community - you do one thing, change a few things, and then try a new method.
See, starting a business is not just a SINGLE event. It is a journey. You have to think and consider your business not in terms of today only, it is in long terms.
Speaking of this, I remembered “KAIZEN” concept. It is a Japanese word, which means improvement, improvements without spending much money, involving everyone from managers to workers, and using much common sense.
We know, the Japanese have their own unique ways of doing and managing the business, one of the management techniques they use is encourages small improvements day after day, but in a continuously way. The key aspect of KAIZEN is that it is an on-going, never-ending improvement process.
There are a lot of successful marketers, they all understand one thing - CONSTANTLY expose their minds to the right knowledge, people and environment to supercharge their business.
STAY PLUGGED-IN TO SUCCEED …
Speaking of “plugged in”, I didn’t mean just go and learning those latest SEO gimmicks or marketing tricks. What I mean is to staying connected with a group of successful people like you, and the people you admire.
It’s kind of like building or staying in touch with a close-knit family, a group of people who know you, know what you’ve been through, and can help you.
So to help you achieve the success, Dan has developed an Ultimately Marketing Community for you to stay plugged in.
The members in the community are like a family of experts and new marketers, you can rely on these people for expert advice on business, marketing and success. You can also contribute your own expertise and share your knowledge with others in the community.
So visit this “Plugged In” family, and see for yourself what all the fuss is about - the latest conversion strategies, a constant education, constant motivation and support that will help you reach your goals.
Success is not a destination, it is a journey.
Get plugged in and stay there to discover the tools you need to succeed in the long-term.
