Amazon (AMZN) has opened its Kindle blog publishing program to anyone, in the other words, Amazon is now offering blog subscriptions on its Kindle E-Readers.
This new service (beta) launch allow bloggers (anyone) to publish their blog on Amazon kindle, by doing that, you, as a publisher will get 30% of the monthly blog subscription price for every subscriber Amazon signs up, and the rest of 70% revenue will go for Amazon’s internal costs. They will sell subscriptions for 99 cents to $2 a month.
According to the TechCrunch, previously, it was a closed program. Now anyone can make their blogs available via the new kindle publishing for blogs beta program, create a payment account, log in, and plug in your feed etc. Bloggers don’t have to pay any fees to join the program, but Amazon sets the price of the content based on what it deems a fair value for customers. The new program opens the door for bloggers to gain new readers and cash.
