I’ve heard of this before, not sure if it was in Tim Ferris’ book or not, but what a great idea. I’ve been trying several different time management ideas over the last few months (the most productive has been not opening gmail until after 10am (I start at 6). It adds a sense of urgency doesn’t it?

How did your 45 minutes go? Did you find you got more done? Did the clicking of the click add a sense of anxiety?

Yes, Jamie, you are totally right, it adds a sense of urgency! 45 minus works great for me, I don’t have any anxiety feeling, just work on the task as time goes, I do get things done within the timer I set up. It really train you to be concentrate and focus. After a while, you will get use to it and do things automatically.
