Speaking of starting your own online business, do you feel a little overwhelmed by all that you need to learn? And at the same time, are you also worrying and afraid of being ripped off? Honestly speaking, if you are not careful, the chances are you might.
If you are a new comer to the internet business world, it just a normal process you might have to go through, as time pass by, the more experience you gain, the more knowledge you learn, the more hands on practice you have, your online business will eventually move to the next stage.
Unfortunately, what I saw is there are too many people throw up a website, and say that they’re building an online business but with no clearly defined goals. They just spend most of their time jumping from chore to chore but not really moving forward. Because they don’t know what they ultimately want to achieve, so they don’t know if they are moving toward to achieving it either!
As it said, well over 95% of those trying to build an online business (generally operated out of their homes, in their spare time) are failing. This 95% failure rate is one you’ll hear quoted often, and the reasons for failure are various.
To become a real online success, from the very beginning, beside the plan and goal setting, you must be ULTRA organized. There are so many chores involved in building a business that you must be able to clearly identify the individual chores. Then you must be able to decide what needs doing first, and you must focus on doing that chore FIRST. Fail to do this, and you will make very little headway. That’s why it’s so critical that you have a written plan and that you review it frequently.
It’s so easy to get sidetracked and then discover MONTHS later that what you have been doing isn’t moving you toward achieving your goals.
In regarding of being ripped off, most jurisdictions it is illegal to make false claims both on-line and off-line. People have their businesses shut down for misleading the consumer in many countries. And we read about people go to jail because of tricking people out of their money.
Even if certain behaviors are not illegal, if something inside you tell you that it doesn’t feel right, then don’t do it. It’s that intuition and your conscience talking to you.
