I learn a lot of things in these past few weeks. One of them is when is the right time to say “Goodbye.” I’ve grown to realize that both business and life are nothing but series of “Goodbyes” and “Hellos”.
Okay, let me explain and give you a few examples.
If you own your own business, you say Goodbye to the learning phase when you say Hello to the earning part.
If you are in the affiliate marketing business, you say Goodbye to the program that did not bring you the amount of commission as you expected when you say Hello to the new merchants.
Maybe you say Goodbye to a how to generate website traffic “trick” that you tried when you say Hello to another new one that you’ve learned.
With these Goodbyes and Hellos you’re moving from one phase into another.
Life is a series of phases, all strung together into a single life. As we move from one phase to the next, we must say Goodbye to the old phase and Hello to the next.
I spent some good time with like-minded people that from Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand in the past few weeks. They are the people who realized their dreams, vision and goals. The things that I learned from them has been life changing!
What I’m really saying has a number of components.
1. If you are not getting the results you want, then it’s time to say GOODBYE to one phase and say HELLO to another. Example, drop those affiliate programs that do not bring you consistent commission checks and start to promote those programs that drive you sales.
2. You can choose at ANY time to stop, say GOODBYE, and start doing things differently so that you can get different results. Example, revise your current marketing strategy and stop those inefficiency campaign promotions.
3. If you wait for something to fall in your lap that causes you to say Goodbye to not getting results and say Hello to a way of doing things that will get results, you will be waiting a long, long, long time – possibly even forever. Example, if you just sit there dream about to become an Internet millionaire and waiting for the money fall from the sky but without take any action, it may never happen in that way.
4. The ONLY way to start getting different results is to make a conscious decision to say GOODBYE – right here, now – and then open your mind, your heart and your ears to finding out what you should say HELLO to!
For many affiliate marketers, the reason that you haven’t yet said Goodbye to your old way of doing things that isn’t producing results is because You Don’t Know What You Don’t Know!
So it is time to say Goodbye forever to being overwhelmed and trying to figure it all out on your own, as well as to stop through your money in the water on these new flanged info products that come out etc. And say HELLO to a new way of doing things that is EASIER, less OVERWHELMING, less complicated, and best of all bring you more Profitable results!
