There’s one question that’s been nagging me for a while:
Why are there so many people come to pursue their make money on the internet business, but not many of them reach to that success ladder?
I mean really, internet business is NOT that difficult to learn, not at all. If you compared with becoming a doctor, lawyer, or engineer it’s really a piece of cake.
Then I find, there a key and critical reason behind all those – Mindset.
You could know every single thing about all of the most powerful SEM, PPC, SEO, Blogging and Social Media Strategies etc inside out. But YOU WILL STILL FAIL if your thinking is screwed up.
I’m going to cover some simple mindset fundamentals that you need to adopt to have the life, business, career etc that you dreamed about.
Don’t worry, I didn’t mean you need to read affirmations out loud, meditate for 10 hours a day, or jumping up and down at a Tony Robbins seminar or Amway convention. What I mean is that:
1. Know exactly what you want (these must be your dreams, not things that others want for you, or things you think that you should want). You need to have a laser sharp focus and vision of EXACTLY what you want to accomplish – and then taking consistent and persistent action to make that vision a reality.
2. Believe whole heartedly that you can achieve your dreams, so much so that nobody or nothing can stop you from believing in yourself and your ability to get there. You will face the barriers during the process, that’s for sure, such as:
Lack of results – this is simply a challenge to almost every person that want to pursue online business career, you can overcome it and it is a temporally challenge, it just means that you haven’t had results YET. If you keep working on your plan, then you will get there, even though you need to adapt when there are some slightly holes in it.
Lack of support from others – this is often due to lack of belief in yourselves; you cannot afford to let it dampen your own self belief in anyway. So make sure you surround yourself with people who are positive influences in your life, and preferably to have people mixed with that you can look up to and wish to emulate.
3. Have a strategy in place that you are following on a daily basis to get closer every day towards the fulfillment of your dreams.
4. Develop a strong passion for learning, and be extremely positive about tricky challenges.
5. Eat well balanced meals and exercise on a daily basis. Preferably find a sport or something that you enjoy and makes you want to keep doing it regularly. Even better if one of your dreams involves exercise to get there.
6. Love your life as it is now and enjoy the challenge and the journey.
I find the hardest part for most people to overcome is self belief. Lack of self believe leads people to procrastinate, to not work towards their goals with enthusiasm and determination (instead with skepticism, and ready to give up at the early stage when they face the obstacles).
By saying that, if you have ever read a book called “Think and Grow Rich!” by Napoleon Hill, then get it now. And read it right away, it will change your life.
Notice the title is: “THINK and Grow Rich!”
NOT “Work and Grow Rich”
NOT “Complain and Grow Rich”
NOT “Blame Others for Your Failure and Grow Rich”
You get the idea.
Yes, it’s so easy to say negative things to yourself all the time. Instead of doing that, why not consciously start changing the words that go on inside your head to the positive ones?
If you want to change the situation that you are in right now, you have to change the level of your thinking. If you keep thinking what you have always thought, you will get what you’ve always gotten.
One last thing I want to say is that, in my opinion, it is easier to work hard with passion towards a goal when it has a deeper purpose or meaning, which means working hard to serve something beyond, the things that drive you further, no matter its about wanting to get rich, or wanting to have a family, or wanting to build up a success online business, or wanting to contribute something to the community, or wanting to help others and so forth.
Finally, the level of success that you want to achieve will be determined by the level at which you think.
