<p>When you creating regular content to your blog, keep your clients, blog readers and prospects&#8217; interest in mind &#8211; give variety and interesting content. Such as issues, news, ideas, videos, or tips around the subject of what it is you would like your potential customers to buy.</p>
<p>However, in the process, it&#8217;s not just about churning out unique content, it&#8217;s not just about keyword optimization or link building any more (although these of course will be great side benefits). It is about produce the content to engage with your customers, find, engage with thought leaders and influencers. It&#8217;s about how to use your content marketing strategy to get the best ROI for your investment.</p>
<p>To find out who are the influencers in your <a href="http://www.marketingbyann.com/2011/10/05/how-to-niche-profits-in-5-simple-steps"><u>niche</u></a>, you need to research and find out their interest first, and then creating content to engage and encourage them to share with others in the different social platform. </p>

<p>When we talk about optimizing a website, there are two different schools of thought. There are people who give more currency to on-page factors and then there are those who talk more about off-page factors.</p>
<p>People who talk about <strong>on-page factors</strong> speak more about things like keyword optimization, using the right title tags, using less HTML, using the right fonts and images etc.</p>
<p>On the other hand, those who believe more in <strong>off-page factors</strong> won&#8217;t give much regard to all these points, but they will think more about generating more traffic through backlinking and other similar methods.</p>
<p><strong>Then which of these schools of thoughts is correct?</strong></p>
<p>Well, if all of your on-page factors are in order, and if you just get one backlink for your website, then you have everything that might take you to #1 on Google. Seriously. </p>
<p>However, what will the off-page believing websites have to do? </p>
<p>They need to build trust and also need to put all of its act together.</p>
<p>In sheer numbers, such a website will have to get 10 times more backlinks than the website that has good on-page factors.</p>
<p>So to focus on all those on-page things that the big boys of the Internet marketing world are already using (they also telling everyone about it) is good, but it involve enormous work. </p>
<p>The good news is, to speed things up and achieve results faster, you can always use WordPress SEO Plugin called <a href="http://www.marketingbyann.com/2010/10/07/love-this-mandatory-wordpress-seo-plugin"><u>SEO Pressor</u></a>. This plugin is used by thousands of WordPress pages and it is growing faster than ever.</p>
<p><strong>Get First Thing Done First &#8211; Content Rules</strong></p>
<p>However, before you install the plugin, you need to get first thing done first &#8211; follow the webpage content rules that given below work out your content, otherwise your website will not going that far on Google.</p>
<p><strong>1. Your webpage needs to have at least 500 words of content. </strong></p>
<p>This is the common sense, if you can write it longer will be better.<br />
In my experience I have seen the web pages that have 800-1,000 words of content, with the right keyword density, it convert very well.</p>
<p><strong>2. The content should be informative and provide value to the reader.</strong></p>
<p>When you sick, you go to see doctor and get medicines to get your heath back. It is same as when you produce the content, you need to show how your product or service conquers the troublesome symptoms your customer suffers from. Proving that your product has been designed to clear the symptoms and make the problem go away, otherwise even if a person lands on your website, you cannot hope them to click through.</p>
<p><strong>3. It needs to be keyword optimized.</strong> </p>
<p>Keyword density is always referred to as a percentage of the total word count for the page. </p>
<p>For effective optimizing that will boost your pages into the Top 20 spots on the major search engines you need to aiming for a keyword density of between 2 &#8211; 5%.</p>
<p>Since the algorithms fluctuate constantly at the major search engines, so it is much simpler to optimize a few pages for different weighting or densities &#8211; a few pages at 2%, 3%, 4%, and 5% keyword density, which means at least one of your pages should rank well on a major search engine.</p>
<p><strong>4. Use title tags. </strong></p>
<p>You might or might not familiar with this, it helps to give a good focus to your content and people know what exactly they are reading. </p>
<p>This is also an SEO trick. When you use H1, H2 and even H3 tags and you have the keyword in it, your webpage is counted to have better on-page optimization factors.</p>
<p>Above these are the basic rules you need to follow. </p>
<p>Even if your website with a lot of images and graphics (is basically a flash website), make sure to have optimized content below the pictures so that the search engines can find it valuable.</p>
<p>Remember that every search engine wants to enhance their users&#8217; search experience, which means they want to provide their users with the website that has better content. </p>
<p>However, it may not be manually possible to do what the search<br />
engines want exactly.</p>

<p>No matter how the time changes, one thing remains the same &#8211; Content is King.</p>

<p>However, there are still some common mistakes people are making before submit the content to article directories:<span id="more-4505"></span></p>
<p><strong>1. Confusing the Reason to Promote the Articles with the Reason to Write Them</strong></p>
<p>In article writing, there are three key benefits toward why you are promoting them; <strong>branding, lead generation</strong> and <strong>promotion</strong>, which are all part of your optimization efforts.</p>
<p>But actually, there is only one reason why you write an article, and that is to inform your audience. If the article is not focused on this primary and most important purpose, it will fail to achieve the three promotion benefits because no one will be interested in reading them.</p>
<p>So the first thing you need to figure out is how to get and engage people to read what is in your article, then make them click on your resource box. To achieve this result, you have to producing better content with quality in mind. </p>
<p><strong>2. Failing to Maximize the Promotional Opportunities of Article Marketing</strong></p>
<p>You may already know that your articles can help you generate additional links back to your site. But do you know you can also get more visitors and better search engine results from those same articles?</p>
<p>What I mean is &#8211; mention keywords at strategic places without overdo it. Some are even using anchor texts which are also an effective method; however, the majority of the article directories are not able to support this. </p>
<p>Remember that; get your articles out there is not only about gain the links back to your site. Part of doing well in your article marketing is to getting picked up by publishers with a large number of audiences, which could help you gain the ability of leveraging other brands as well, because of the quality of your work, better search engine results also can be achieved.  </p>
<p><strong>3. Publishing Content that Does Not Help Your Readers</strong></p>
<p>Maybe in the process of writing, all you think and want is to get links back to your site and you forgot who your targeted visitors are, and you think any visitors it can generate are fine.</p>
<p>Guess what? Not all article banks and directories are going to accept your content automatically. </p>
<p>Oftentimes, they have some guidelines and specifications on the articles that they are accepting. So you should read and check the articles you are submitting whether match to their requirement or not.  In the other words, if you want your article marketing work in the most effective way, then write articles that publishers want to share with other people in their publication. </p>
<p>This also means that you have to obey their standard guidelines, do the spell and grammar checks, researching on a good topic or even hiring a writer to produce a good content on your behalf.</p>
<p>In the end, it is really a matter of choice on your part. You can start getting a little exposure from increased links back on a very basic level, or you can enjoy massive exposure from just spend a little extra time to make quality contents. </p>
<p>Finally, you may not be aware of the fact that an article submitted on directories is not mean to have the same level of exposure as highly-targeted content that geared on a narrow group of people (niche market). Learn the difference between these two will surely help you know what kinds of articles to write and to submit.</p>
