I am a sports marketer and talk to fortune 500 companies every day…I am finding a growing trend with C-level execs big picture thinking when it comes to internet marketing. Although the real time data from web marketing is nice with the P1 audience *direct buyer-knows what he or she is looking for* .- internet ad retention is near zero. It does make logical sense…I use the internet extenisivly and couldn’t tell you what one ad on a web site is after I close the site. Also, a non-scientific observation..how many 35+ adults do you know who will actually, voluntarily click on an ad?…thoughts?
