Look at Here… I just added the Simple Forum plugin by Andy Staines from Yellow Swordfish to the MBA blog.
The plugin is available for download through the link above and the configuration is easy to do. It is a simple and straightforward forum that does the sort of stuff a forum is supposed to. It is fully integrated with WordPress and the WP User system and has grown from being simple to being very richly featured.
To install it on your blog, downloaded package and copy the ’simple-forum’ folder to your wp-content/plugins folder and activate the plugin in Wordpress. The plugin will create the tables it requires and a series of option values in the database. It will also create the ‘page’ record that will be the basis for the forum.
Then go to your administration panel and click on admin page (Manage –> Simple Forum - click on the Forum Options) from your administration and check that options are set. Once you get all the options updated, you can start create your forum.
If you need any help and support, just go here download a full User Guide in PDF format that can be downloaded separate from the plugin.
Thanks Andy!
