Breaking the Rules, Build a Real Business

Greetings All,

I hope you’re doing great. If you are celebrating Thanks Giving, I wish you a wonderful thanksgiving filled with family and delicious treats. :-)

Speaking of making money online, I like to know – what’s your ideal income that you wish to make from the internet?

Before you choose to answer that – I want you to think big. At the same time, think realistically but not thinking small.

If you don’t have a clue on how to make money on the internet yet, don’t stress yourself with a far fetched goal like $10,000 a month. Not only that will be self-sabotaging but it’ll waste your time as well.

You see, there’s a big difference when to use the idiom, “Aim for the star so that it’ll still be okay if you miss it because you’ll hit the moon” thing. You do that WHEN you already know HOW TO ACHIEVE YOUR GOALS. You can do all sorts of “Law of Attraction” techniques and you’ll still remain at where you are.

Making money online is based on techniques, together you need to have the right mindset and attitude to go with it.

To make it into a ’system’ is based on many techniques combined together. Well, the worst part is, everybody is tossing around with the word ’system’ when they don’t really GET IT. For example, they call their ebook a system because it just sounds fancy.

In my understanding, a system can only be called a system if those techniques have been applied into action and generated the desired results. Then, these techniques can be duplicated so that the desired results can be achieved from time to time, again and again. Like KFC’s business – it is a system.

So basically, if you want to make money online with the least chance of failure, then follow a system.

Speaking of that, I know you’ve heard this same thing many times before, as far as I know, lots of ‘marketers’ out there who claim they can show you how to make money on autopilot or throw in all sort of promises are just SHOWING YOU, but not proving to you. They are full of theories, more like hot air balloon.

Secondly, most of these ‘marketers’ are just plain ‘hit-and-run’ guys. The plan is darn simple (you might
even laugh) – position themselves as ‘marketers’ who anti-gurus, sell a bunch of courses to you and
make money.

I have see lots of this kind of cases – when the stuff they sell doesn’t work, they’ll just disappear from the internet marketing community and hide behind the computers. And when they need money again, they just reappear with another ‘mysterious’ pen name, and put big bucks check on the sites. I know it sounds blunt but you should have spotted the patterns.

For whomever call themselves ‘Marketers’ and do business on this way, their business will not stay for ‘long-term’, they only can gain benefits from short-term.

Honestly speaking, when you want to make money on the internet, there are basically two ways to go about it.

The first one is to build a real internet business. In this method, what normally you will do is to select the niche market based on your current expertise, or your hobby, or things you like to do. The strategy for this is to dominate the sub-niche of the particular niche market you’re pursuing and grow it ‘deep’. You can learn how to do and achieve it through Secrets to Their Success.

Or to build an internet business based on your million-dollar idea, like MySpace or Facebook or something like that.

The other one is to setup as many ‘income generators’ as you can on the internet. For instance, get into affiliate business, putting up ads and write content to promote affiliate programs. AffiloBluePrint is the useful course that tells you what to do, when to do it, and pretty much guarantees your success towards affiliate business.

This type of business is really quick because it doesn’t require any product creation or even a website. You have minimal risk and you’ll start seeing income as you go along.

The game for this is simple as well – the more you can put up on the internet, the higher the chance of success and the richer you’ll be.

The internet game is very simple to play- the more ‘presence’ you have on the internet, the more money you’ll start to see.

Ok, as you know, many of us make plans for the next year as each year draws to a close – make their “New Year’s Resolution”. If you do it, why don’t start to do it now rather than December, you will see it’s more a plan than a vague promise.

If you don’t have a website yet, then set up a simple website now and start to generate money, even it is just $10-$50 per day is still good. It’s much harder to set up a website that generates thousands of dollars per day, although certainly not impossible, but it is hard. So don’t waste your time on that, just work on your small website in a consistence and gradually way first.

Once you see the results and start to make money, then you can start to build numerous websites as being similar to having a vending machine route, with hundreds of vending machines around the city. Remember – none of the machines need to have a HUGE volume as long as many of them consistently make sales. The easiest and effective way to do it is through Datafeedr, it allows you set up a brand new site within just minutes.

Finally, before you start any of your niche business, don’t forget to research and understand your customer, study and find out their needs and know what areInside Their Mind first, only after you know who are your customers, then you will be able to have right products offer to the right targeted market group.

I’ve already mapped out 2009, and beyond, and have a good feel for exactly where my online business
is headed. Here is my integrated plan for 2009:

1) Setting new sites up in proven profitable niches.

2) Driving a steady stream of traffic to these sites.

3) Monetizing these sites with AdSense, sell affiliate products, as well as my own products.

Till next time – wish you a happy year 2009 planning. :-)

Cheers
Ann
