It Is All About Traffic

Back to the newsletter, in my previous editions, I wrote about to set up a blog, use your blog to promote your business, and how to marketing your blog etc. I hope you read and learn something from it. For myself, I strongly believe without traffic, no blog can survive.
With regards to generating traffic to the blog, you need to come up with a strategy to get everyone notice your blog first. The way you do it is not that much different from planning a regular web site. The only different between these two is that blogs can generate traffic a lot faster. Thus, the first thing you need to consider is your target audience and where exactly you want to generate your blog’s traffic.
I emphasized many times about the importance of the content. Your content is the reason of why people come and visit your site. So try to learn to master the ideas, know what your visitors want and make your blog interesting, content relevant, deliver the value to your visitors and satisfy their needs.
The content is especially important if you plan to sell products or services from your blog.
To gain visitors and prospects’ confidence, you need to write and publish the content in a consistent and regular way, and remember - DO NOT criticizes others if you do not have facts to support your claim and the references to those facts. If you criticize, then do it in an objective non-personal manner.
Once you have your writing published, then ping it, this way will help you get your blog’s content into the search engines quickly.
Pings make blogs excellent search engine optimization. There are even instances where it only takes a day before your content gets into the search engines. By using the ping method, your content will only take hours to a few days to get into most search engines, on average.
Don’t forget to use RSS feed as well. RSS feed not only allows you to be able to publish your content within a short period of time, it also allows you to show your content to a wider audience.
Beside above those ways towards to generating the traffic to your blog and your site, there are also many others great and fast ways you can use.
