Greetings All,
As the year draws to a close, we wanted to tell you how thankful we are for your business in 2010. Thanks also for being a loyal reader of the MBA Digest. We look forward to keeping you informed of the latest MBA updates in 2011.
In less than two weeks, we will step into the new 2011, are you ready for that? Did you get your New Year Resolution done already?
No matter which stage you are in, I would like to wish you a big brighter, more active and productive year 2011.
Myself, I find this year 2010 past extremely fast, time just flying.
As in general practice, it is the time for entrepreneurs whose thoughts turn towards growing or changing their businesses in the New Year. It’s that time of the year, if you make resolutions, record your goals, dreams, hopes or expectations, here are some of my thoughts, or, in the other words, few things will be included in my New Year Resolution that I am going to share with you, enjoy!
Honestly speaking, I haven’t get my final 2011 plan done yet, but I did few things last week to Rechage My Business Brain, hopefully I can get all those necessary plan done before end of the year.
Before going further, if you haven’t join our ALB community, I would like to invite you to come and get on board, in the ALB, we have a fun social atmosphere where members can make friends, post status updates, create and join different groups based on your own interest, send emails, participate in discussion forums. The social piece is designed to facilitate communication within the community and to give people the opportunity to find and collaborate with others who share their same interests, have fun and we are looking forward to welcome you in the community!
As you might already experienced, doing something different can really fresh up your brain and digg out those new thoughs, ideas and resources from inside you, which can help you get your planning on the right track. Once you know or have a clear picture about where you want to be, reverse engineer a plan to get there.
What I mean is that, example, if you decide you want to earn $x per month by a certain date, then you need to figure out how many clients or sales you need per week or per month to reach that goal.
By achieveing that specific goal, you need to figure out what steps you need to take to get a client or make a sale, then get to work on it.
It is a simple logic process.
However, what I find is that taking action is good, but if you really want things to start hopping in your business you need to take massive action, which means to dive in with both feet and get cracking and get things done, that’s one of the things that I am planning to do in the year 2011.
In the mean while, I will treat my own business like it’s my best client and give it more time and attention it deserves. If I don’t do it, I‘ll always be too busy working IN it putting out fires and taking care of other things, and I’ll always be chained to it.
The other thing I need to do is to call up past clients, respond to posts on online forums, comment on blogs, continuing write articles and blog post everyday at the same time (due the fact of that writing a certain amount each day or week or to writing at specific times, you’re much more likely to get work done), do email follow ups, create an ads and etc, whatever in the list, just do it every day, the good time for me to do those things shall be in the morning. I also find that if you do something daily, you’ll be way ahead of your competition.
For any entrepreneurs or marketers, if you always sitting alone in your home office and working on your stuff, it’s hard to come up with fresh ideas and solutions to, so I decided and commited to get out often and get some new perspectives in the coming up year.
What I will do is to commit to read at least 4 new business books next year, subscribe to a new magazine even if it’s not related to my business, read other successful entrepreneur’s ezines and blogs, and go to at least one big seminar or conference on business-building, marketing or Internet marketing.
Finally, assign some task to others to get work done in an more efficiency way to end up those exhausted, overworked and frustrated.
At the same time release myself from unproductive task and put myself into the work of creating and developing new content for MMO System to make this already comprehensive course more solid.
Of course, I will be easier on myself, I will focus on what I do accomplish this year, not on the failures. I find that sometime beating yourself up doesn’t help anything, instead, reward yourself for having found something that you love that much and then sticking to it is much better way to do.
