I went with a group of people to Phetchaburi province. This province is mountainous and tree-covered but also has splendid beaches, a wonderful historical park and is peppered with old and interesting temples. It lies sandwiched between the Gulf of Thailand and the eastern border of Myanmar. It was once an important royal fort during the Ayutthaya period. Today this richly historic region provides visitors with a wealth of opportunities for sightseeing and relaxation.
I had a great time, and already uploaded some photos to the Facebook. You might want to go there to look at it. If you have time, I highly recommend you visit there.
