The Amazon.com just announced there are many new great features added to the affiliate widgets, which included Shuffle Products, Default Search Term, Delete Widgets and Tracking Ids.

Flex Links - Affiliate Widget Tracking

In the 20 Dec 2007, LinkShare teams with ShopNBC and Tumri to introduce Flex Links - a new kind of embedded link technology that allows advertisers and publishers to add a new level of tracking to the Web’s most popular advertising content, such as video and widgets.

Amazon Catches Widgets

Wow, Amazon just launched bunch of really cool marketing widgets.

Those small, visually dynamic, easily configurable tools allow you to feature products from Amazon on your website, blog or social networking pages. In as little as one minute you can populate a widget with your favorite Amazon products, your comments about those products, and select from a set of color and layout themes to match both your mood and website.

Here are the widgets:

Slideshow: You can pick your favorite images from the Amazon catalog and present them as a stylish sideshow to show your favorite CD cover art, present recently read books, or even reveal your favorite breakfast cereals.

My Favorites: Express yourself by recommending and commenting on your favorite products from Amazon. This widget lets everyone know how you feel and what you like by showing product images, information and your own comments.

Quick Linker: Quickly build links to products on Amazon by inserting a set of custom HTML tags as you write your content, you can quickly link to products on Amazon. For example, typing Harry Potter would link to a Search Results page on Amazon for the term “Harry Potter.” This is a great new tool that will be handy for all Associates and bloggers that write their own content.

Wish List: Display your Amazon Wish List on your site and let friends, family, and others know what you want.

Product Cloud: This engage site visitors by displaying product titles that are relevant to the content of the page in a cloud or cluster with the most popular product bolded. Site visitors can click on the title to directly visit the product page on Amazon. See the image sample on the left of this post.

Amazon Unbox Video Previewer: Show movie studio and TV network previews for a wide range of new release and classic movies or television shows available from the Amazon Unbox video download service. You can select by attributes, such as genre, for previews you want to show on your websites.

BlogRush-Free Blog Promotion Tool

BlogRush, a free blog add on widget tool, which can help you promote your blog(s) on related blogs across the Internet has launched. It is created by John Reese, I decided to give it a try here at MBA and on my bizbizlink.com, a link to success blog.

What’s this free blog promotion tool all about?

BlogRush is a free blog syndication service that just launched few days ago. It is intended to help bloggers increase traffic to their blogs. It is a viral blog promotion tool that shows relevant blog posts that you put on your blog (usually the sidebar).

On the other hand, I think if BlogRush allows users to ‘Customize’ the widget size and color etc, to add some more flexible features into it will be really helpful.
