Turn Hungry Local Advertising Buyers to Your Customers

June 2009 is in the process forever gone, hope you had a good month :-)

Okay, you’ve made some money online and know the basics of the how online business is running. Here’s a thought: why don’t take your skills and help local businesses and market their most profitable merchandise, products or services? Also, you can use your online marketing skills to help them scale up any underused capacity that they want to promote to earn monthly, recurring payments!

You may already know that most brick-and-mortar local businesses know their business, but they don’t know how to market their business effectively. Sure, they do what their competition is doing, post the ads on the local business directories and yellow pages, but they don’t think outside the box. You, as an experienced marketer, can help them in ways they may never even imagine.

Speaking of that, you may ask “Where to find them? How to find those potential local customers?”

My answer is: “before you think about helping smaller, less profitable businesses, do your market research first”!.

Yes, you need to first find out who is paying a lot of advertising money in your local area and concentrate on those businesses that have big display ads. Then approach these businesses .. continuing read in this week’s MBA Digest.
